I have received 4 black replacement ink cartridges in a row mailed to me that leaked. The last one leaked all over the inside of my printer. I was told it could be to Colorado altitude pressure. I can't even open one without a huge mess. This is the instant ink program. I was told to unplug the printer and stop using it and to just out and buy a new printer. I can't do that. can anyone relate?

@gdslight,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I apologize for the inconvenience. It is rather surprising that the Instant Ink cartridges are exploding while pulling out the orange tab.

I have not come across any other customer-facing this issue.

For assistance with replacing the ink cartridge, refer to - Replace HP inkjet printer cartridges
