Just put in brand new ink cartridge and keep getting ink problem coming up on ho smart is there a way to check the cartridge?

Sorry , the model is a 6032E envy I have cleaned the terminals on the cartridge and followed the correct steps for re inserting and this hasn’t worked .As soon as I put the old smaller cartridge in it works perfectly and the only difference I can see is the size of the new one compared to the old , but According to instant ink this fine , so I cannot see where I am going wrong .

Seems like a cartridge issue.
