Ink cartridge

HP Recommended

I installed a new black cartridge and I am getting an error

 

”REMOVE AND REINSTALL THE INDICATED CARTRIDGE, MAKING SURE IT IS CORRECTED INSTALLED”

 

I have done all  troubleshooting with no changes. What can I do?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  

  • Step 1: Clean the printhead
  • Step 2: Reinstall the print driver (Windows only)
  • Step 3: Make sure you are using the appropriate paper for your print job
  • Step 4: Check print settings
  • Step 5: Check the estimated ink levels
  • Step 6: Replace any low or empty ink cartridges
  • Step 7: Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page
