Good morning. I was changing my ink cartridge and realized it’s the wrong one for my printer. My hp has a shorter cartridge and I was sent a longer one. What can be done about it? Thanks in advance .

Please read this post and then provide some details.  What printer model? What are the numbers on the cartridge?  Are the cartridges HP Instant Ink?  Have you tried installing the cartridges?

 

Please be aware:  HP Instant Ink cartridges are typically higher capacity than even the XL cartridges your printer may support.  While they may be deeper than standard cartridges they should fit, assuming you were sent the proper cartridges.  See the video here:
