Hello Everyone! I just got my new hp printer and enrolled in an instant ink. When I bought it, it has a promo that says 6 months free trials, but when I enrolled it says 2 months only.

Hi @RoxyRichards,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing a discrepancy between the advertised 6-month free trial and the 2 months you see when enrolling in HP Instant Ink, there are a few steps you can take to resolve this issue.

  1. Check the Promotion Details: Review the promotional details that came with your printer or on the packaging. Ensure that you meet all the criteria for the 6-month free trial. Sometimes, certain conditions or requirements need to be met to qualify for the full promotional period.

  2. Check the Enrollment Confirmation: Review the confirmation email or documentation you received when you enrolled in HP Instant Ink. It should specify the terms of your subscription, including the trial period. Ensure that the correct information is reflected in the confirmation materials.

  3. Update Account Information: Make sure your account information, including your printer's serial number and purchase details, is accurate. Sometimes, discrepancies can occur if there's an issue with the information provided during enrollment.

  4. Review Terms and Conditions: Go through the terms and conditions of the promotion and Instant Ink service. There may be certain conditions or limitations that affect the duration of the free trial. Make sure you understand the terms associated with the promotion.

  5. Follow Up with Retailer: If you purchased the printer from a retailer, consider reaching out to them as well. They might have additional information or be able to assist in resolving the issue.

  6. Online Account Management: Log in to your HP Instant Ink account online and check if there are any details regarding the promotional period. The account portal may provide more information on your subscription terms.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
