Ink plan

HP Recommended
HP Envy 4527

Does anyone know why I was sent an email this morning by HP telling me that I had to upgrade my printing plan to 500 pages a month (costing £12.99 per month) and then when I go online to change my current plan, the recommended new plan outlined in the email, is not an option?

Also it is very frustrating that you are not able to pick up a phone and contact anyone to speak to about this. I have now wasted 40 mins trying to sort this issue out and I am no further forward.

Many thanks to anyone who responds to this 🙂

@Andy_G5, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

In the previous or current billing cycle, if you have exceeded the number of pages according to your plan, an automated email is sent to you suggesting to upgrade the plan. You may do this only if you think you will be printing that number of pages every month.

If it was just a one time, you may remain in the same plan.

500-page plan is not available to all users. It is provided to the customers who print 500 or more pages every month. To obtain this you will have to contact the Instant Ink team.

And yes, the contact information for HP Instant Ink team is available on the home page.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
