I’m on the pay monthly plan … my printer says I’m out of ink and my app says I’m all good for ink.. I’m trying to get hold of someone to let me know why both are contradicting themselves

"Why"

The most likely answer is that one of the notifications is wrong.

The printer is usually right in cases like this.

 

It's generally faster if you contact  HP Instant Ink Support in your region -- you can certainly wait here in the Community if that's not an option for you for any reason.

Your faster option:

Contact the team at  HP Instant Ink Support during business days and hours available in your region.
