Hello.  I was printing a document and in the middle of it, I received a message saying the ink was very low, to replace.  I put in a new black ink cartridge received from HP instant ink.  It printed a realignment page, but it was only blue ink, no black, so i put in an old alignment page, pressed start.  It messaged me that it was correctly aligned to print, so I started the print sequence again.   The printer goes through printing motions, but the paper is completely blank.  I removed the cartridge and replaced it again, and it still doesnt print.  Could it be the cartriged or ?

I see that you are facing alignment issues with the new cartridge installed on your printer.

 

Please follow the steps listed below to install the firmware update from HP smart App and then install the new cartridge.
1. Go to https://123.hp.com/ to install the HP Smart app on your mobile device (if not installed).
2. After completing the printer setup, click or tap your printer name.
NOTE: Menu names, locations, and available settings vary by printer model.
3. Under Advanced, select Printer Home Page (EWS) or Advanced Settings.
4. Click or tap Tools or Web Services.
5. Click or tap Printer Updates or Product Update, and then click or tap Check Now.
