Getting a cartridge error on my instant ink. replaced the tricolour but still getting it so must be the black cartridge. Tried updating the printer directly from the printer it says it is up to date. Have tried cleaning the contacts no difference. Can't seem to order a new black cartridge anywhere. Also got an hp envy error code OXC4EB9024 earlier although that seems to have disappeared. Printer is in an error state so can't do anything with it.

As I understand, there's an issue with the ink cartridges. Appreciate you trying the steps to resolve the issue.
Have you checked you HP Instant Ink account page? Your Instant Ink account page will have notifications if there are any issues with the account or recent cartridge shipment, it will even provide solutions on how to fix the issue. You may log in to your HP Instant Ink account page from here.
