A while back when we first got the printer, my family and I have usually kept the printer turned off. It's usually what we've done with every printer we've had, we turn it off when it isn't needed. A week or so ago, I found out that we had to keep the printer on for the inks to be monitored. Alerting us and HP about our Instant Ink. The problem came when we ran out of coloured ink, my dad and I decided to just throw out the cartridge and was fully expecting another coloured cartridge in the mail a while later. We saw messages on the printer saying it was on Single Cartridge mode or something along those lines. Well, our Instant Ink package just came today, and we only received 1 cartridge, it was the Black cartridge as it was also running low on ink, no coloured cartridge inside at all.
I was wondering, would there be a way to receive another coloured cartridge or would we have to pay for another cartridge to start the sort of loop again?
