Common problems for INSTANT INK, HP+ PLANS: INK AND TONER

Last week I checked to see the status of my next shipment as I was running out of colored ink. On my account it said that the order was shipped on 7/12/2021, but there was no tracking information. It said that information would be available soon. Today, I went to check again and the tracking information was available and it said it was delivered on Tuesday by DHL. DHL said to check with HP since they show it was delivered. I live in a house converted into apartments. For most deliveries, I ask them to drop it off at my door which is on the 3rd floor around the back. This is because we have a non-secured mailbox area where many packages are stolen. HP doesn't allow me to add extra delivery instructions. Additionally, since the tracking information was given to me nearly a week after it was delivered, I had no way of knowing it was here and going to pick-up the package before it was stolen. I don't have any other reason to check my mail regularly. Additionally, the package is clearly labeled "HP Ink" which I'm guessing makes it a prime target for people wanting to take packages.

How do I go about getting new ink shipped to me?

That's unfortunate since the obvious solution -- if available for your Instant Ink account:

Direct all packages, including those from HP, to be held at your local post office or to have packages and the supplies for your account sent to a safe box / holding area (for example, a local UPS office) instead of directly to your home address.

Rats.
