Common problems for INSTANT INK, HP+ PLANS: INK AND TONER
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Instant Ink. Check out this link: HP INSTANT INK, HP+ PLANS: INK AND TONER. .

I re-enrolled my printer in Instant Ink and the cartridges remain disabled. I followed the virtual assistant recommendations but the printer will still not print.

Anyone dealt with this issue before? Is there a way to refresh the status or are these carts now dead and I must wait for another shipment?

Unfortunately it is Sunday evening and there is no support personnel available and I need a document printed by tomorrow at 8AM. That's not the fault of the system but it is a bit comical how when things must work in a pinch they do not.

Any help by a community member is greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Hi @wolfiedrei,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

Try the step mentioned below

1) Take out the cartridges.

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

3) Wait for 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Remove the cartridges > Unplug the power cord > Wait for 30 seconds > Plug the power cord back > Insert the cartridges

Make sure to use only instant ink cartridges if enrolled.

You may also refer this document and see how it goes.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
