Instant Ink - alignment page printouts, do they get added to my monthly subscription plan?

I have recently set up Instant Ink for my HP Printer and my printer frequently prints the alignment page without me requesting it to.   Will this print be included as a page used from in my monthly printing plan or doesnt it count?  

 

Does anyone know how to stop the printer from automatically printing the alignment page?

@kor01, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

The printer alignment happens when there are any print quality issues or if the alignment wasn't complete previously while replacing ink.

 

Yes, the pages will be counted towards the monthly plan.

 

Refer to the document Alignment Errors to clear any issues regarding printer alignment.

 

Also, Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

 

Keep the printer under observation for a day and let me know the outcome.
