I unplugged my printer for about two weeks until I needed it. Probably not the first time that I have done this. Ever since I get a cartridge error message. It says one is missing or damaged etc... The blue was extremely low so I replaced it. Then I got a error message on the magenta saying it was damaged. I have followed the troubleshooting steps. Removed all cartridges cleaned them twice with a lent free wet surface. Cleaned inside the printer with dry lent free Q-Tip. Same error that a cartridge is damaged. Now I just installed for the second time brand new ink cartridges. SAME ISSUE. I'm not sure why HP Support thinks putting in different cartridges will clear the issue. I NEVER had printer issues back in the days when I went to the store to purchase my own ink. My printers would last for years. But this instant ink program in the end is a rip off. I just want my printer of 4 years to work as it should. I don't use it much, I don't move it around, can someone help. ??
