Good morning,
When I bought my printer it included free ink for life (limited to 15 pages per month).
Now I've received an email saying this is ending and they are going to charge for the same service.
When did "for life" change?
Is this a breach of contract?
I've tried contacted HP but they have yet to reply.

It is unfortunate - but it is certainly not a breach. Companies the size of HP do not make changes of this type without having the legal means to make that change.
In the case of the free plan, the Terms of Service contract includes the necessary wording to protect the company providing the service.
For Example
Instant Ink – Terms of Service - UK
Item 11 > section h > subsection xv11
Not your contract?
Open your contract and search for the word "free"
That said,
Contact Instant Support in your region and ask for clarification.

- The contract also provides contact information, usually in the very first section.
Again...
The contact phone number is displayed on the top, right of the main website.
AND
Regional Contact information is also available within the Terms of Service contract, in the first section of black type before the Index.
