Instant ink Free Trial: how to activate?

Hello,

Today I purchased an Hp Envy Photo 7830. On the box it's written that there is a 4 month free trial. I registered on https://instantink.hpconnected.com (I cound not use the 123.hp.com site, since it asks for installing the HP Smart software on the PC/Mac, but I use GNU/Linux). During the registration there was no indication about the 4 months free trial, so I ended up choosing the 15 pages free plan (thinking it was the one advertised on the box): unfortunately this plan will not even last 4 months, as it will expire on December 3. 2020 (I just received an email about this).

How can I start the "real" 4 free trial months? Can I choose any plan (I don't know much I'm going to print)?

Hello @Kumar0307,

thanks for your reply. I managed to fix the problem by calling the HP phone support. They have now activated the 4-months free trial (with 300 pages / month).

This thread can therefore be closed.
