Received message sayingInstant ink cartridges installed on May 8th, this was the date they were delivered. I have had the printer around 4 weeks and still have the original cartridges in the machine (and lots of ink left). Is this normal?

Due to the current global COVID-19 situation, we're seeing an influx of customers coming in for support. We appreciate your patience.

 

The printer would have been shipped with Instant Ink Ready cartridges which means the subscription will begin on the day of enrollment. However, since the regular ink cartridges are not as big as Instant Ink cartridges, a welcome kit will also be shipped immediately.

 

Once the cartridges that came with the printer are depleted you can replace them with the ones that are shipped by the Instant Ink team.

 

It is normal for the printer status to show up as- Instant Ink cartridges installed.
