Instant ink plan kicked off with current preinstalled free cartridges - does not sound right

Hi - I bought and registered my daughters printer - and was entitled to 15 pages free per month.  I upgraded by accident and now it seems I have lost the option I bought the printer for- I got confused when ho contacted me to say they were sending new inks - a welcome pack.  I want to stick to the 15 pages a month free - how do I do this?
