Hi,

I have a quick question about HP instant ink service.

I have enrolled in the service a while ago (end of last year) and my first black ink that I installed after the service enrollment just ran out  so I need a new ink cartridge. As I understood, HP is supposed to send me a new ink cartridge before all the ink run out but I have not received any ink from HP so far.  In fact, when I enrolled in the service, I have received a welcome kit that included ink cartridges. But I thought that the inks in the welcome kit were extra gifts for me to keep and they are not related to the instant ink service. AM I wrong? Were those inks considered the inks that I am supposed to install when my ink runs out - Are they a part of instant ink? Am I supposed to install those ink cartridges when my inks run out? Are they considered the first instant ink from HP? Shouldn't I expect to get a new ink from HP until these gifted inks run out? They are not extras for myself to keep? Can anybody clarify? Your help would be very appreciated.

Yes, use the cartridges that came in your welcome kit.  That is what they are for.
