Microsoft Windows 11

InstantInk says it's unable to connect to the printer, yet the printer is connected.  I can print and scan.  Please help

@bhrosey101097, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

I understand the Instant Ink page says the printer is offline. Are you seeing this on the HP Smart app? Let us try these steps:

 

Restart the router, the printer, and  the PC

Make sure the printer is connected to the internet.

 

Restart web services

Click here to know how to turn off web services. Refer to this document to know how to turn it on.

 

Check your HP Instant Ink account page? Your Instant Ink account page will have notifications if there are any issues with the account or recent cartridge shipment, it will even provide solutions on how to fix the issue. You may log in to your HP Instant Ink account page from here.

 

If the issue persists, reinstall the HP Smart app.
