Is it OK to change cartridge if instant ink says I have ink?

HP Recommended
HP Envy 4520 All-In-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Instant Ink status shows that I have some color ink left (about 30% from the picture), but my color prints only seem to have a faint yellow color to them. I have no error messages. I have printed test pages, done head cleaning and advanced cleaning with no improvement.

 

Would it be ok to go ahead and install the new color cartridge?

@willmw, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

When you see your print quality deteriorating you can replace the ink cartridges though they're good on ink.
