Hi, I wanted to know why the HP officejet 7612 printer is not compatible with the Instant Ink service?

It would be very convenient ....

Go to HP Instant Ink, then scroll down to and click the Check to see if your HP printer works with Instant Ink link to find a list of eligible HP printers.

The printers on the list are limited because of the unique supplies that,

1. Have different fill levels from store purchased supplies

2. Can be enabled or disabled from use in the printer via the Instant Ink program (the cloud)

3. This is also due to unique Firmware in the printer that enables the specific type of communication to the cloud.
