My Officejet Pro 8610 has stopped communicating for my instant ink account. The printer is connected to my wifi. I have tried resetting the printer, uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers but it will not connect to the internet. I would appreciate any help that you can offer.

True - you do need to have the printer connected to the Internet for the Instant Ink Service.

Sorry when I say hp support assistant I meant the 1st support who I contacted by WhatsApp.
Apologies I wasn't clear.
However this seems to a very serious issue affecting a number officejet pro 8610 owners who are all suffering with the same issue at the same time.
In my case instant ink has been working reliably for YEARS. Now suddenly its stopped and nothing has changed at my side.

Yes I believe there is every chance that this is a serious worldwide problem.
Surely it is very strange that over 5 people with the exact same (old) printer are all having connection issues. This printer has worked reliably for over 6 years. Now it's stopped and nothing at my end has changed. Literally everything is the same including my ISP.

I'm having the exact same problem with my 8610. Instant Ink and the printer have worked great for years with zero problems and all of a sudden it can't connect to my HP Ink account. The last successful connection was Nov. 26. Very frustrating.
