I purchased my printer over a year ago in preparation for using a home office in the future. I didn't open it until a few weeks ago. There were no ink cartridges so I ordered replacement cartridges. I inserted the replacement cartridges today and now the printer is saying I need to use the setup cartridges that came with the printer. I have tried resolving the issue with HP Virtual Assistant and it tells me to return the device to the seller. I cannot return it because I purchased it over a year ago.  Is there a way to bypass the setup cartridge process?

I have sent you a private message with the steps to bypass the setup ink message which is specific to your printer. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
