Solved!

Missing lines in printouts - Instant Ink cartridges full but probably clogged. How can I replace?

macOS 10.15 Catalina

My printouts have multiple missing lines/horizontal gaps. I've tried using the Tools utility to clean and align multiple times, and also tried wiping the contacts, but nothing has helped.

 

It's been a long time since I used the printer, so I suspect, based on forums I've read, that the cartridges are clogged and probably just need to be replaced. But they are still full. My printer is out of warranty. How can I get replacement Instant Ink cartridges? (or do I need to buy new ones at the store?)

Thanks for your help. What it took was just multiple cartridge cleanings and Quality Diagnostic printouts over the course of a couple days to get the ink flowing again.
