Multiple cartridges

HP Recommended

HP keeps sending me ink cartridges even though my printer says it doesn’t need ink. At this point I think I have about six new cartridges unused, just collecting dust in their boxes. Why do I keep getting these cartridges? And what do I do with them if I don’t actually need them??

@Serenagratia, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

It seems like you are receiving HP Instant Ink cartridges. You may use the unused ones when the ink cartridges in the printer are empty. Ideally, the HP Instant Ink server ships out a replacement ink cartridge only when the ink cartridge is low/empty.

I will put a note on your account as not to send any more ink cartridges unless you request one.
