HP Envy 5546 Printer

I have for many years been enrolled into the HP Istant Ink programme and today my printer decides to say it won't work unless enrolled into the programme. I have tried running the diagnostics but with no success.. Can anyone out there offer any assistance please. Thank you in anticipation. Jimones.

It sounds like your HP Envy 5546 printer is experiencing an error related to HP Instant Ink, which is a subscription service offered by HP that allows you to automatically receive new ink cartridges before your current cartridges run out.

 

Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:

 

  • Make sure your printer is connected to the internet. HP Instant Ink requires an internet connection to function properly.
  • Check to see if you have an active HP Instant Ink subscription. If you do not have an active subscription, you may need to enroll in the service to continue using your printer.
  • Restart your printer and your computer. Sometimes restarting your devices can resolve technical issues.
  • Check to see if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating your printer's firmware can sometimes resolve technical issues.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I had tried all of these but without success. I finally managed to get a chat going with one of your colleagues at HP and that resolved the issue.
