My HP Office jet pro 8710 is connect to WiFi on the printer. It has all the correct info and the WiFi light is blue. My computer says it can't find the drivers. I went to HP and followed the setup links. I have uninstalled and reinstalled from hp and my computer still can't find the driver. My instant Ink account says I'm offline and can't see my ink levels. I truly have tried all I've read and still can't fix. Please help. I'm on windows 10 64 bit. Thank you in advance for input or advise.
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.
We will have to check the connection first.
Restart the wireless router, the printer, and the PC
Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network.
This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. So, the PC should be on the 2.4GHz network.
If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue
Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.
If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
Use the HP Smart app to print and scan from your Win PC
Click here to download and know more about the app.
