My OfficeJet 3830 do not print in black and very light in color

I haven't use my printer for couple months last summer and when came back from up north I tried to used it but my document where nice at the beginning of the sheet and gradualy  getting uneven. I tried to solve the problem by changing the cartrige but didn't do any good. I have put this on the side since I didn't need it that much, now I want to use my printer but I have nothing in black coming out and very light color. Took the time to go on line to get teck support but my warranty have expired Oct 13 and we are Oct. 30. Miss my warranty help by only 17 days. If I would have taking the time when it happened I would have been on warranty. Very mad at myself. I hope that someone can help me.

I have gone through your Post and I understand your concerns

 

Please ensure the printer has the latest Firmware. Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

 

Next try cleaning the Printhead

  1. Load plain paper into the input tray.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.

  3. Touch Tools, and then touch Clean Cartridges.

  4. The printer performs the automated cleaning process and then prints a Print Quality Diagnostic page.

    • If the print quality is acceptable, you can stop troubleshooting.

    • If the print quality is unacceptable, touch OK for a Second-level Cleaning when prompted to continue the next level of cleaning.

      NOTE: If the ink cartridge nozzles are badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform both levels of cleaning again.
