My Printer is Online but says "Can't connect to Printer"

HP Recommended
HP Office Jet Pro Premier
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My instant Ink page shows how many pages I've printed, my account information and it says Online with a green check mark. The problem is that it says "Can't connect to printer, try again later" in the upper right corner. I've called the help desk but they seemed to have no idea what I was talking about. I'm running out of ink and I need a shipment soon. I don't know if it's working properly. Everything seems to be working except that little error in the upper right corner. If it was working it would say "As of current date" or something like that, but in never connects.

@djfTacoma, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Restart the wireless router, the printer, and the PC.

Make sure the date and time on the printer is correct.

Check if the error still persists. if yes, restart the web services on the printer

Refer to this document to know how to turn off web services. To turn it back on, you may refer to this document.
