Hi. Had instant ink subscription on HP envy 4500 for several years. Printer has failed so I have ordered a replacement printer. The new one is hp and has 6months free instant ink. I wish to continue to use instant ink service how is the best way to use the new printer only on this service. I will need to stop my service on the 4500 but want to benefit from the instant ink period don the new printer what’s the best procedure to benefit me most from the change of printer please ?

If your HP ENVY 4500 printer has failed and you've ordered a new HP printer with 6 months of free Instant Ink, follow these steps to transition your Instant Ink service to the new printer:
Steps to Replace Your Enrolled Printer
Set Up the New Printer:
- Follow the setup instructions that came with your new HP printer. Make sure to use the HP Smart app, which may have a printer replacement function that helps you transition your Instant Ink service seamlessly.
Enroll the New Printer:
- If you purchased a replacement printer, watch for the printer replacement option during setup with the HP Smart app.
- Ensure your new printer is connected to the internet and completed setup.
Replace the Printer via HP Smart App:
- Use the HP Smart app to complete the setup process. Choose the option for replacing the existing printer.
- If HP sends a replacement printer under warranty, the HP Smart app automatically replaces the printer during setup.
Canceling Your Old Printer's Instant Ink Subscription
- Cancel the Instant Ink Subscription on the Old Printer:
- Sign into your Instant Ink account: Instant Ink account.
- Verify the serial number by selecting Overview, and then Printer Details in the Status area.
- Click HP Instant Ink, then Update Plan in the left menu.
- Scroll to Plan Details.
- Click Cancel my HP Instant Ink Subscription and follow the prompts.
- You'll receive an email confirmation immediately, and another at the end of the billing cycle.
