My HP 6878 is forcing me to sign back up to Instant Ink.  Help!  I cancelled my Instant Ink account bc they sent me expired cartridges multiple times.  They also sent me ink before I really needed it.
Now I bought new ink cartridges from HP directly and from Amazon.  I carefully avoided buying any that were branded as  Instant Ink, but, when I load them into the printer, I get an error message that says I have to sign up for Instant Ink to use them.  I can not find any indicator in my printer management software or onscreen on the printer that shows me how to cancel or override the Instant Ink requirement.  I feel like HP is holding me hostage until I sign back up!!!

Welcome to the HP support community.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
