New Printer Instant Ink Trial Didn't Activate

Hi

I very recently purchased an HP Envy Photo 6230 which came with a 4 month instant ink trial, but at no point during the installation and registration process (using the HP Smart app), was the trial activated and I am now faced with a charge for the first month of use.  Is there any way to retrospectively add the 4 free months I will miss.
