I recently purchased a new ink cartridge from a large warehouse store; I know it is authentic - it is a 63 XL (the correct type for my printer). 

I was able to print for about a month and now the printer is telling me "Ink Cartridge Problems" ... it is installed correctly, I've wiped the terminals, and I have turned the printer off/on and unplugged it as well. I have only printed at most 50 pages of Word documents so I know that I have not used up the ink in this short of time. Please help.

I understand you are not able to print due to this error. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

Check if it is an HP ink cartridge. 

 

Make sure the ink cartridges are properly inserted in the printer, you may refer to - Replace HP inkjet printer cartridges

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Ink cartridge error

 

If the error persists, use an alternate ink cartridge and check for the error.

 

If the replacement ink cartridge does not have the error, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the replacement options. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
