My HP Officejet Pro 6978 worked fine until I inserted new instant ink cartridges. It produced a Cartridge Error:
Cartridges missing or damaged
Call HP went through all the steps suggested and I mean all on repeat. Inserted old cartridges that worked fine prior to this but now they too don't work. Many hours and different customer care people still nothing but **bleep** excuses from HP first was told my printer is no good and I could purchase new one from them then told I was sold a bad used printer (friend sold it to me & worked fine prior to the new cartridges) was told hardware went bad but doesn't show that either. I don't care what lie they throw at me fact is my printer worked fine until the new ink cartridges HP insists you use HP cartridges were installed. If broke beyond repair HP owes me a printer because it was your cartridges that caused it. I've been sent 2 sets of cartridges none work and they r sending a 3rd set like that will work. I need a printer last week. This is a game. HP knows what's the problem but just continue to play**bleep**in my eyes.
