New printer did not come with start up ink. How can I override that and use the ink that did come

I purchase a new OfficeJet Pro 8028. Included in the package was 4 (910) ink cartridges. After installing Printer reads use ink that came with product (which I was using). After investigating, realized the company sent wrong ink, we should have gotten startup ink (which we did not). How can I get my printer to work without those and with the one that came with it? The company states that they are out of stock for the start up ink.

We would have to perform an OOBE reset on the printer to bypass the error

• The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
