Hello, I just replaced my black and now it's not printing black. My colors are printing ok however my black words are gray and only the top half of them are showing up. Help!!!

The likely cause of the issue as you describe it would be a faulty cartridge, or an electrical connection between the cartridge and printer. I would suggest removing the cartridge and use a lint-free wipe to clean the electrical contacts in the printer and on the cartridge.
