I bought photographic paper in preparation to print photos for a competition deadline. I checked my dashboard to see my ink levels were good and it told me they were. 

I tried to print said photos to find the colour was atrocious. I cleaned the cartridges not once but twice and rechecked my HP Instant Ink dashboard to make sure I hadn't run out of ink. I retried printing and everything came out green.

I called HP and was given a case number and was put through to an expert who told me that I have run out of magenta and that a new colour cartridge had been despatched and would take about seven days. I already knew I was out of magenta because I also ran a diagnostic print.

Today, the 16th of June, I was informed by e-mail that the cartridge has just been despatched and I should receive it by the 29th of June.

My question is has anybody else received such shambolic service and if so ,what have they done to ensure it is rectified. There does not seem anyway to make a complaint or get any redress. needless to say I have missed the competition deadline and have not been able to print for nine days up to today.
