Not able to print on HP Envy 5660, cannot print..connect printer to update instant...no longer in in

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Have not been in instant ink program for over 2 years. Today there is a message on printer: Cannot print. Connect printer to update instant ink status. Have tried to do this to try and get past msg. No joy. Have uninstalled printer and installed using basic driver and usb cable. Still not able to print. HP support has been useless. Phone calls are not being answered, they automatically end call. Can someone help?
