Officejet 3830 Not Printing on Envelopes

I have printed on envelopes numerous times with the same printer and same envelope type and size with no problems. All of a sudden the envelope will feed half way and then the printer will not pick it up and makes a loud nose like it is trying to feed. An error comes up that there is a paper jam. What could be the reasoning? I have unplugged it etc.

Thanks!

@Bridge09

Printer may be dirty and in need of cleaning.

Known Solutions here, presented in the order to be completed / considered:

Paper Jam Error

Document includes the steps to manually clean the rollers.

Reminder:

After you change the paper / load the tray, check the Printer Control Panel to modify / retain the paper size.

Paper Setting on Printer Control Panel

Check / Adjust / Retain the Paper at the Printer Panel

Open Printer Tray,

If you have not yet done so, add desired paper type

Close Tray

IF applicable for your printer:

On the printer control panel, Click Modify (wording varies), set the paper size and type, Click OK

NOTE:  If the size of the Paper Size is not in the Drop-down list, Select Custom
