Only getting 2 mo free ink not 6 mo as promoted

I signed up for my free ink that came with my new 

HP DeskJet 2742e All‑in‑One Printer it said only 2 months free the promotion was for 6 with hp+

Signed up for hp+ still only 2 month, my 7 days were up today so i finished enrolling. Is there a way to get my other 4 months?

What is Instant Ink?

Instant Ink is a Print-by-Page subscription model that provides as much ink as needed for the selected "page" plan.

The information you need is included at the Instant Ink Website for your region.

 

HP+ is related to Instant Ink in the sense that signing up for HP+ provides for an Extended Trial period of the Instant Ink subscription 

 

The subscription (or Trial) to Instant Ink is NOT mandatory to sign up for HP+.

 

Signing up for HP+ is required to qualify for the extended Trial to the Instant Ink subscription.

 

HP+ - What is it and how does it work?  What about the Extended Trial for Instant Ink?

 

Look on the box - See the notice "6 months with HP+"

 

For the extended trial, opt (choose / sign up) for HP+ service to be eligible for the extended 6 month Instant Ink offer.

 

What?

HP+ is NOT Instant Ink - the two are related in the sense that the Instant Ink Trial period is extended when you opt (choose) HP+ service.

 

There are other limitations, benefits, responsibilities when you choose HP+ service.

 

For example, at this writing, HP+:

  • HP+ includes an extended (longer) Warranty on your printer
  • Requires that you always use HP genuine ink cartridges in the printer - Again, this is not "Instant Ink" - the requirement is that you use HP branded ink
  • The printer must be connected to the Internet to allow monitoring by the HP+ Service
  • HP+ service includes Concierge Service - with extra setup help and assistance

Partial Excerpt:  Share your printer: Allow others to send remote print jobs to your Print Anywhere printer. Enable Private Pickup (HP+ printers only) to hold the print job until the person who sent it is near the printer.
