Common problems for INSTANT INK, HP+ PLANS: INK AND TONER

When buying my printer it stated I was entitled to 9 months of instant ink free trial, however, when enrolling in the programme it only gave me a 3 months trial for my account. I have an instant ink promotional leaflet that came with my 'Deskjet 1430e' printer which also states that I should receive a 9 month trial, but there was no code to input in the promo code box.

 

I've found similar issues people have had with varying amounts of months, it seems that the promotion on offer at the time is given over the extended amount of time given with the product which is unfortunate as HP don't supply a code in their leaflet stating you get 9 months free. 

 

I'm now at a bit of a loss as to what are the next steps other than messaging here, if this is a common problem there should be a simpler more automatic system in place, but unfortunately there is not.
