Out of Color Ink, Instant Ink says there's enough left

Instant Ink is connecting well, and I can see it's reporting the printed pages correctly. I don't understand why it thinks that there is enough ink left in the color cartridge, it's not even yet sending a new one yet. But, Color Ink has been low for a while and we ran out of it completely a couple of days ago.

As a new cartridge isn't even on the way yet, I'll have to go buy new cartridges now. 

Questions:

1. how can it get the printed pages right, but be so far off on the ink levels when the connection is fine

2. how fast can a shipment be arranged, I don't see how to request?

3. How can I claim that cartridge I will have to buy back.

 

Hope someone can help. So far, I'm not impressed and am considering to cancel the whole instand ink thing.
