I've a printer with the Instant Ink activated and the printer is counting all pages as a single page independently of the page size. The reference should be A4 and pages printed as A5 should count as 0.5 page and A6 should count as 0.25 page. The Instant Ink service is interesting only to the people that prints in A4. A minor page size consumes less ink cartridges and the service becomes expensive.

Hi,
With HP Instant Ink, your monthly fee is based on the number of pages you print, not on the amount of ink you use.
The paper size does not indicate the ink usage, an A4 page can have few characters printed and can be a full photo, both count the same with the service
You know your printing habits the best, consider if the service meets your needs or not.

I understand that monthly fee is based on the number of pages but is not the best approach if you want that people use this service. The service is good to people that prints pages (A4) with a lot of information (like images). The people that print in a smaller size, or only text, the service is too expensive.
Adapt the service to the user habits can add value to the service.
My suggestion is the page count based on the page size. Is just a suggestion to add value to this service.
