Poor quality printing from black ink

I have an* issue. Black will not print at all. I have tried the support assistant and get the same pages sent to try. I have done everything and no black ink comes out at all.  This is my first set of instant ink.

Have you tried checking with a regular ink cartridge? Does the issue persist?

 

Replace any empty, low or faulty ink cartridges on the printer. Also, try cleaning the ink cartridge contacts and check if it helps.

 

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Report

 

Follow these steps to print a test page.

  1. Load plain white U.S. letter or A4 size paper in the tray.

  2. From the control panel home screen, touch the Right Arrow (), and then touch the Setup icon ().

  3. Touch Tools, and then touch Print Quality Report. A Print Quality Diagnostic Report prints.

Thanks lot for your reply. I had done all of these steps, and in talking to a HP rep, they sent me a new cartridge via next day delivery and that solved the problem.
