Printer Ink Page Quality/Resolution Low

My HP Envy 5055 printer has worked well up until this point. Currently, anything that I try to print will come out of the tray looking terrible. Any of the ink that makes it onto the page is very low visibility - as if the ink cartridges are almost completely empty. I've tried printing just black/white or just color, the problem is the same for both options - the page comes out unreadable and only with a few noticeable marks. 

 

I've tried putting in new cartridges so that I know the ink is topped off. I've cleaned the cartridges and completed both of the self cleaning protocols that the printer offers. I've reinstalled the printer and changed the paper I am using. I've done all available steps on the HP website. The last option they offered was to ask this community or talk to the virtual assistant again who isn't helpful at all. Any help would be great because my warranty expired last week, exactly when this problem started happening.

I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

 

I see that you have already performed all the necessary steps and replaced the ink cartridges as well. If the issue persists, this is clearly a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. 

 

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
