Printer can not connect to Web services

HP Recommended
Deskjet 4100 plus
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Can anyone help as i get as far as finding printer on instant ink site but then it needs me to connect to web services which my printer can not seem to do? And i cant seem to find my printer listed on the instant ink site but there are stickers on it to say it has the capabilities?

I see that you have issues with connecting the printer to web services, refer to the document HP Printers - Cannot Connect to Web Services for help.

 

Also, the User Guide from pages 73-77 should provide you information.

HPENVY7640 series (2D4980)

‘printer can not connect to Web Services. Server might be busy or temp unavailable’

 

I’m trying to scan a doc from the printer to my email on my computer. I have been doing this for years. Don’t understand what has changed. Please help.

Restart the router, the printer, and the PC

 

Did you try the steps mentioned in this document? -  HP Printers - Cannot Connect to Web Services 

If there is an issue with the server, this error might occur. Try again after couple of hours.
