HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One Printer

The printer is connected to my home internet network and prints fine wirelessly from my PC and phone both.   However, the printer is telling me it is not connected to the internet, and that it can't support Instant Ink if it is not connected.   It is threatening to block my printing if I don't connect it.   But it is already connected to my wifi network.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

 

It's not your local network -- it's Web Services that connects the printer to the Internet.

True - if the printer cannot connect to the Instant Ink service, at some point, it will stop printing.

No Joy?

Your faster option is to contact Instant Ink Support and ask what can be done.

HP Instant Ink Platinum is a printer subscription program with an all-inclusive monthly payment. Make sure your router is on and connected to the internet. If you have another device on the same router, make sure it can connect to the internet. If the router is not connected to the internet, contact your network service provider. Check the printer connection to the router.
