HP DeskJet 2734e All-in-One Printer

We ran out of ink and replaced the cartridge Hp sent us in the mail. Ever since it hasn't worked. My Hp account says that my printer isn't connect to the internet. When I print the diagnostic from the printer it says that it is connect to the printer, but that is not enrolled in instant ink.

I did all the restart everything (printer, computer, wifi). I am connected to the same wifi. I thought about resetting the printer on my account, but I don't want to loose all of roll over pages that I have already paid for.

Planning on calling Hp tomorrow. SOS

Hi @tutututitus,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're dealing with a frustrating issue with your HP DeskJet 2734e. Here are some steps you can take to address the problem.

Check Printer Connectivity:

  • Ensure the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. Sometimes printers can connect to a different network or guest network.
  • Print a Network Configuration Page from the printer’s control panel to confirm its current network settings.

Verify HP Account Status:

  • Log in to your HP account and make sure the printer is listed under your devices.
  • If it's not listed, try adding it again. This may require entering the printer's serial number, which can be found on the printer or in the Network Configuration Page.

Check Instant Ink Enrollment:

  • Go to the HP Instant Ink website and log in to your account. Check if the printer is listed and enrolled.
  • If it’s not enrolled, try re-enrolling it. You may need to use the printer’s serial number and possibly remove and re-add the printer from your HP account.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Sometimes a firmware update can resolve connectivity issues. Check if there’s a firmware update available for your printer on the HP support website.

Perform a Printer Reset:

  • If you decide to reset the printer, be aware that this can sometimes clear out old settings and connections. However, HP Instant Ink roll-over pages should be preserved as long as your HP account remains active and the subscription is not canceled.
  • To reset the printer, follow the steps in the printer’s manual or HP support website. Make sure you’re logged into your HP account when setting it up again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
