I have already tried reconnecting the network through the settings, the problem persists.  Once I press ok it prints fine. Hp needs to develop a patch or something to rectify the situation

Thank you for posting back.

Let's try these steps to resolve the issue:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Remove USB cable, if present.
  • Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
  • Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer and wait till the warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.

Keep me posted for further assistance.

So after doing all those steps, I just called HP Support and the only thing that resolved the issue was a partial reset. It took a couple of hours as we went through tons of troubleshooting but the partial reset did the trick.

Resolved:  what another user stated and I did the same is for my 8025e is I had to go to the printer settings itself and do a cold reset, once that was completed, the error message disappeared

Resolved: what needed to be done was to go to printer settings and do a cold reboot as it’s called on my 8025e. Once I did the cold reboot, no more of that message.

Awesome. We did not go thru the settings that way. The HP Tech had me do the following:

1. From the home screen hit the arrow key 4 times

2. Click Support Menu

3. Scroll down to Resets Menu and click okay

4. Scroll down to Partial Reset and click okay

That is how we resolved it. I have not tried the cold reset but if it happens again I will definitely give it a try.

I have followed the instructions wireless is on but did not fix it.  I still get the message to reconnect to the internet. Instead of printing the document  I get this message  then when I say ok it prints the document . I have to do this every time.
